I had two cataract operations by Miss Bourkiza and her team, at Central Middlesex Hospital. At my first appointment in July, Miss Bourkiza examined my eyes and explained the benefits and risks of cataract surgery very clearly and advised me on regular self testing because of my early dry AMD. I was put on the waiting list that day and had my first operation in September. I was very pleased with the the care I received from Miss Bourkiza and all of her team. Everything was explained to me during the operation and the aftercare was excellent. My second operation was in January and it went very well and I was very pleased once again with the care and attention shown to me by the whole team. I would thoroughly recommend Miss Bourkiza and her team to anyone needing cataract surgery. I found the whole experience very easy because everything was explained to me so well and I felt safe throughout. I do not think I could have had better care even if I had been treated privately.
